School Overview

Crater Lake Charter Academy is an independent public charter school located in Jackson County, Ore., that offers a blended model for students in its virtual academy. Crater Lake serves 200 students in grades K-12 (50 elementary school, 50 middle school, and 100 high school students) by offering a wide range of support options for students taking virtual classes. Although all Crater Lake students take online courses, the school has comfortable learning facilities where students can come to participate in blended models of education. In 2014, Crater Lake was named a Fuel Education Transformation Award Winner for its innovative use of online programs to transform student learning.
