Implementation Q & A

When you first implemented blended learning, why did you choose that particular model? (has your model changed? why?)

We implemented a model based on the most recent research in how people learn. We make tweaks each year based on student and parent feedback.

What was one of your biggest challenges when going blended, and how did you overcome it?

Executive functioning skills for our youngest students was a challenge in the beginning. We have since increased the scaffolding and check-ins to improve their productivity.

What's the one piece of advice you'd give to emerging blended-learning programs?

Know the tools better than the students.
