School Overview

Located in Cookeville, TN, Prescott South Middle School provides educational services for over 800 students, with a 48% free and reduced population. With a district focus on technology integration and a priority on high school students utilizing dual credit and dual enrollment courses, Prescott's principal partnered with the Putnam County School Vital (online) learning school in the 2016-2017 school year. This partnership paved the way for Prescott Middle School students to achieve up to 8.5 high school credits within 3 years. The PSMS Vital Academy has received significant recognition for its blended-learning initiatives and the introduction of the high school credit options.
