In 2013, St. Paul School transitioned from a traditional model to a blended-learning model for all manth and English Language Arts classes in grades K-8. In order to accommodate 90-minute math and ELA blocks each day, the school slightly extended its school day and redesigned its schedule. Now the students spend more time at school, but they do not spend this time in lectures; instead, students rotate through three stations in each 90-minute block to learn with computers, the teacher, and other students. The Station Rotation model at St. Paul School allows teachers to differentiate student learning based on real-time data generated by the computer programs. In the blended-learning program's first year, students achieved 147% of growth targets in math and 122% in reading. Though this program is only in its early stages, it has already allowed St. Paul School students to grow in their knowledge.
