Implementation Q & A

When you first implemented blended learning, why did you choose that particular model? (has your model changed? why?)

Blended learning was first implemented when there was an identified deficiency of students whose services and needs were not being met at the traditional district

What was one of your biggest challenges when going blended, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenges have been revising and changing our programs to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our students and the technological changes that go along with blended learning.

What's the one piece of advice you'd give to emerging blended-learning programs?

Advice I would offer would be to complete substantial research in regards to state and federal compliance laws, curriculum and instructional systems, local academic requirements and deficiency areas, etc. Do your homework.

Select up to two focus areas you feel that you demonstrate leadership in, and tell us why here:

Two areas that I demonstrate leadership in is guiding talent management and working directly with my stakeholders (teachers, students, staff, community).
