The model did change based on teacher feedback and student outcomes. In some cases the core teacher was not the intervention teacher and we saw this as an issue with student progress. It was best to keep the core teacher as the intervention teacher since they know student abilities best.
Our school system was looking for an adaptive software program to fit the needs of all learners. The district designed "custom days" to allow for students in grades 5th and higher to implement math software/intervention time during the school day so that students can work at their level with support/guidance from their math teacher.
